Hot Wax bath
Each board has been submerged in a hot bath of Pith's Board Wax prior to shipping. This wax is a blend of food safe Mineral Oil and local Bees wax, this conditions the wood to prevent cracking, splitting and helps keep moisture out.
Apply Pith's Board Wax after each use for the first week and whenever necessary there after to extend the life of your board.

100% natural hardwoods from around the world. Every board is assembled with an FDA approved food safe, water proof wood pulp glue. No artificial color or staining processes are used.
Wood cutting boards are safe for both meat and vegetables with proper cleaning and maintenance. Wood has natural antimicrobial properties that prevent the growth of bacteria. PITH exclusively uses hardwoods for the longevity of your Board.

Aways us warm water, mild soap and wipe dry when clean.
Never submerge your board or place it in the dishwasher.
Do not use vegetable oils, olive oils, etc. on your cutting board as they will turn rancid and leave your board unsanitary and foul smelling.
